Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG)
Grant Management Administrative Specialist
$5,972 per month, salary commensurate w/ training and experience
Exempt, non-civil service, full-time, temporary appointment. This position provides a multitude of administrative support duties including budget, fiscal management, cost accounting, procurement, etc., for those projects assigned by the PHIG Workforce Director. The position provides temporary and immediate relief through the reduction of the operational and administrative load on the department with a degree of high level of service and results oriented. The position also works with the PHIG Operational Optimization Specialist to assist with the development of data analysis on the viability of federal program administration through the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH) and/or other fiscal agents.
The position works independently on the various projects authorized by the PHIG Workforce Director. In addition to the PHIG, other projects may include but not limited to federally funded programs.
Minimum Qualification(s)
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a baccalaureate degree.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of combined experience in fiscal activities which may include budgeting, financial monitoring, procurement, accounts payable, and/or cash management.
LICENSE: Hawaii Driver License, class 3.
