The Maintenance Associate Team Leader, along with the Maintenance Team Leader, oversees all functions of the Maintenance department. Strong organizational skills are required as well as the ability to work effectively with people and other Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all repairs, breakdowns, and PMs in the Facility inclusive of the building itself and all equipment
  • Complete special maintenance projects as assigned by Leadership
  • Delegate work to approved vendors using third-party systems such as Verisae
  • Assist in project planning and assigning projects to the appropriate technicians
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Perform daily walkthroughs to inspect equipment for running order and safety issues
  • Help the MRO Coordinator keep the spare parts stock accurate and adequate
  • Collaborate with other Teams to meet production goals
  • Document Maintenance Team Member performance when needed
  • Keep track of Team Member attendance
  • Perform all related job duties as required
  • Ensure compliance with all issued policies and procedures documented in the Allegro Operating Manuals and Regulatory requirements – including, but not limited to; SQF, GMP, HACCP, FDA OSHA as well as any local/state/federal requirements.
  • For SQF purposes: since this position is part of Management & Operations it is considered a High level of Responsibility.

Skills and Professional Knowledge:

  • 5 years relevant experience managing Facility systems
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and third-party vendor relationships
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • HVAC experience
  • CMMS experience is a plus/preferred
  • PLC experience is a plus/preferred
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work well with others, be self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Facility Leadership.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Average shifts are 8-10 hours long
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule to cover production needs.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to read and speak basic English
  • Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift suggested for weights in excess of 70 lbs.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
The wage range for this position is $ $33.70 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
