Position Summary:
As the Lead Maintenance Supervisor at Meati Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and dependability of our manufacturing assets and processes. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a culture of high performance within the maintenance team and implementing change management strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
This position involves collaboration with various teams, including Line Leads, Process Leads, Technical Operators, and Maintenance personnel, under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Maintenance & Reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage actively in daily operational meetings to assess and report on performance metrics, including project management updates, breakdown occurrences, and insights from completed preventive maintenance tasks.
- Support the formulation and execution of maintenance strategies, including the development of 90-day loss-elimination plans and the annual maintenance agenda.
- Oversee a team of skilled Maintenance & Reliability Trainers, ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks and achievement of maintenance performance targets.
- Manage the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System, coordinating maintenance activities as per the established annual maintenance plan.
- Ensure the timely revision and updating of technical maintenance documentation.
- Provide strategic leadership in developing maintenance strategies for automated equipment within designated process areas.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability to maximize asset lifecycle.
- Lead efforts in eliminating breakdowns and achieving significant improvements in both planned and unplanned downtime, while being accountable for key performance indicators.
- Act as a mentor and resource for the maintenance team, participating in operational meetings and ensuring effective execution of maintenance plans.
- Collaborate closely with the Plant Technical Manager to align maintenance strategies with overall plant and corporate objectives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in an automated manufacturing setting.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting professionalism and sound judgment in fostering business relationships.
- Committed to achieving results and taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Able to inspire and motivate team members, while valuing respect and development.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related engineering fields is preferred, along with relevant experience.
- Previous leadership experience with small to medium-sized teams is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $115,000 annually, complemented by a potential annual bonus and equity options. Actual compensation may vary based on individual skills, experience, and location.
