Job Description

Designing, developing, and implementing instrumentation systems for monitoring and controlling various manufacturing processes in the metal manufacturing plant.Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for new instrumentation projects.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and production managers to integrate instrumentation systems into existing manufacturing processes.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.Performing regular maintenance and calibration of instrumentation systems to ensure accurate and reliable operation.Keeping abreast of advancements in instrumentation technology and recommending upgrades or modifications to enhance system performance.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all instrumentation projects and activities.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum 5 years experience as an Instrumentation Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal manufacturing.Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, control systems, and automation technologies.Proficiency in CAD software for designing instrumentation layouts and schematics.Hands-on experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
