About the Role:
Kent is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in supporting various high-stakes projects by delivering comprehensive project control services, including financial oversight, scheduling, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, along with exceptional analytical capabilities and the ability to manage a complex portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee project timelines, ensuring timely and precise updates.
  • Monitor and report on project advancements, ensuring alignment with objectives and schedules.
  • Oversee project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance assessments.
  • Provide in-depth financial and scheduling analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior leadership and project teams.
  • Identify and address potential risks related to financial and scheduling aspects.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of invoices to ensure accurate billing and cost management.
  • Facilitate communication among various project teams to meet project goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of project control methodologies and procedures.
Additional Information:
The employee may be required to undertake other tasks as directed by management, within the reasonable scope of their skills and role. This flexibility is essential to meet the evolving needs of the organization efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project controls, ideally within an EPC setting.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and cost control tools.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries is preferred.
Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
