About the Role

The Alumni Relations & Career Services Assistant is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Development team and will be responsible for maintaining the operations of the LathamAlumni program, while acting as a knowledgeable, firmwide resource for alumni-related information, data, and the LathamAlumni community as a whole. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with local offices and other team members to execute global, regional, or office-specific alumni-related initiatives that drive alumni engagement, including events, reunions, panels, and other programs
Ensuring alumni contact data is systematically gathered, validated, and maintained in the firm's CRM software system
Identifying opportunities and assisting in the drafting and editing of external alumni-focused communications across a variety of mediums
Drafting internal communications, reports, campaigns, and presentations promoting LathamAlumni programming, initiatives, and commercial successes to various constituencies across the firm
Updating the external alumni website and social media page

We'd love to hear from you if you:
Demonstrate strong attention to detail
Exhibit advanced research and analytical skills
Display advanced organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

And have:
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience
A minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting alumni- or career services-related programs in a professional services firm, university, or corporation, preferably
