Description and Expectations:

Ability to manage K-6th graders in an afterschool program and out of school program setting

Build meaningful relationships with kids, parents and other team members

Create a fun, educational, and meaningful program for K-6th grade students

Handle behavior management in an effective way

Plan and implement afterschool programming activities, out of school activities, and summer camp activities

Ability to handle administrative tasks and grant paperwork

Ability to lead and oversee staff members during down time before students are present and during programming

Lead effective meetings with team members

Responsible for setting up for programming and staying after to make sure that everything is put back in place

Willingness to go above and beyond to serve our kids and families

Attend and assist with all City Kids events

Meet with students 1 on 1 during afterschool to check in and build relationships

Looking for:

Bachelor's Degree

Team Player

Passionate about working with elementary aged kids

Effective communication

Ability to meet deadlines
