Summary:
The Sr Bureau Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for reporting of Financial Calls, Data Calls, Assessment and various mandated statistical agents and federal/state agencies. Involved with preparing the MDC (Medical Data Call) and IDC (Indemnity Data Call). Responsibilities include analyzing and reconciling the data and any other related action needed to assure the accuracy. This may require researching the source systems, external feeds and the Bureaus. Building relationships with external bureaus and states and the Business Segments, Claims, Financial/Statutory, Unit Stats, AP and IT functions. Utilize Oracle and cube data to complete and pay assessments and data calls in a timely manner. Would be responsible for obtaining the required information to complete and pay the assessments/surcharges in a timely manner. Will participate/initiate process improvement efforts as needed as AmTrust continues to grow. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization. Correspond with the MGA's as needed currently (Kestrel) may be additional in the future.
Responsibilities

- Reporting statistical and financial data to the various mandated statistical agents and federal/state agencies.
- Obtaining the required information to complete and pay the assessments/surcharges in a timely manner.
- Utilize Oracle and cube data for a more efficient and accurate data to balance back to state pages.
- Build relationships and effective partnerships with external bureaus and states, AmTrust IT, and other various departments within AmTrust such as Account Payable, Claims, Legal Compliance, and Tax.
- Various projects, updating procedures, and assisting the AVP Bureau Data Reporting in various other tasks
- Keeps current with market trends and demands.
- Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
- Identifies, researches, and corrects policy-rating or claims coding discovered during the data reporting process. Works to resolve reporting discrepancies and disputes of the highest complexity.
- Point of contact for MGA Programs and communicates collaboratively with bureaus, underwriters, and claim adjusters.

Qualifications:
Required:
- 5 to 6 years' experience reporting of insurance, finance, or banking
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, analytical, customer service and interpretive skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher of college
