Our Human Resources department has an excellent opportunity for an HRIS Analyst in the Firmwide (One Cleveland Center), Columbus, or Cincinnati office. This is an exempt position that reports directly to the HRIS Manager. The HRIS Analyst is primarily responsible for providing hands-on functional, reporting and technical support for all HR technology systems. This support includes core HR functions, benefits administration, recruitment, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ software at the super-user competence level. Research, analyze, design and implement solutions in all HR software systems and databases, including UKG (including Workforce Management Timekeeping), and ViDesktop. Perform configuration, setup and testing support for new modules and business processes.
  • Assist HR department from a technology aspect in the administration of performance evaluation, compensation and open enrollment processes. Serve on HR Technology teams and committees.
  • Compile and transmit data to other Firm departments and various vendors including the year-end upload of compensation and deduction files to our payroll vendor. Compile data and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, including generating labels, diversity statistics, etc.
  • Train and assist others in the design and preparation of reporting services in Cognos Business Intelligence. Educate functional-users and super-users on core HR business processes. Educate employees and managers on UKG Workforce Management and self-service transactions.
  • Assist with analysis, perform research and conduct process audits to ensure data integrity while working collaboratively with other users of data to resolve issues.
  • Research, recommend and implement technology improvements within the HR function. Document business processes through work plans and manuals.
  • Other duties as requested and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from two-year college with a minimum of three (3) years of related technical experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment is highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of technologies that can be applied to Firm operations and Human Resources to enhance working efficiency.
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) and MS SQL. Working knowledge of Cognos Business Intelligence, MS Visual Studio, and other related technical components of an HR, benefits, performance and timekeeping system preferred.
  • Experience with UKG Core, OnBoarding, Recruiting, Benefits Administration and Workforce Managements preferred. Proven ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written. Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts with an audience and respond to questions from all levels of professional and support staff. Ability to interact effectively, manage and exceed expectations, and to exhibit a high degree of responsiveness, diplomacy and professionalism in these interactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity and exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
