We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our PM team in Wyandotte.

As part of our Maintenance organization, you will support our Engineering Plastics Compounding plant (EPC)
During your straight day shift as a Maintenance Technician III, you will- Install, maintain and repair equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, extruders, convey systems and Piping
- Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and utilizing all resources available. Findings reported to supervision with appropriate recommendations.
- Support and improve Preventive Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Programs to insure equipment reliability.
- Actively participate in plant safety meetings, and work within BASF site and corporate procedures.
- Support all EHS policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.
- Track and update assigned tasks in our maintenance management system (SAP).
- Maintain good attendance history.
- Provide rotating on-call support for after-hours production demands to include working overtime and weekends when needed.
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED. (Associate Degree in a Mechanical Program would be preferred).
- Have 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Have 5 year of experience performance maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, rotors, gearboxes.
- Are experienced with MS Office and SAP Plant Maintenance or are willing to learn both.
- Have 5 years of experience working in a compounding environment, this would be an asset.
