Currently, we are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team at either a Patient Service Center or in a Client office. In this role, you will not just collect specimens but also serve as the frontline representative of the company, providing exceptional customer service. Moreover, you will have avenues for professional growth within our organization.

Compensation Range: $20.07 to $28.52 hourly

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:50 am - 4:50 pm (additional hours possible)

Benefits: Job offers will be based on skills, relevant experience, and the terms of the bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21. Full-time and part-time employees (working 24+ hours per week) are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), and accrual of Annual Leave and Sick Leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood collections using various techniques across all age groups
  • Obtain specimens for various tests including drug screens and paternity tests
  • Accurately enter patient information into systems
  • Handle billing information and process payments
  • Prepare specimens for analysis
  • Maintain detailed patient and specimen logs
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients
  • Perform necessary administrative and clerical tasks
  • Be willing to travel to different sites as required

Requirements:

This role mandates a full COVID-19 vaccination. Prospective hires must provide proof of vaccination or qualify for accommodations per relevant regulations.

  • Valid Washington Phlebotomy License or pending application with Washington Department of Health
  • Prior experience as a phlebotomist
  • Demonstrated history of outstanding customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team setting
  • Must be comfortable with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
  • Pass a standard color blindness test
