Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Float Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. This role involves working with various hospital facilities, providing vital specimen collection services. As a float phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service while performing essential blood collection procedures.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.07 to $31.65, with additional compensation for night shifts.
Incentives: Enjoy an extra $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement for travel between locations.
Work Schedule: Shifts are scheduled from Thursday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Locations: Work will be conducted across multiple hospital campuses.
Benefits: Eligible employees working 24 or more hours per week will receive comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, 401(K) plan, and paid time off, including holidays and sick leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct blood draws using venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages.
- Collect specimens for various testing purposes, including drug screenings and paternity tests.
- Accurately enter patient information into the system in a timely manner.
- Process billing and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate logs of patient and specimen information.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Travel to additional sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Phlebotomy License issued in Washington or have an application submitted.
- Previous experience in phlebotomy is required.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
