Job Description

The Health Workforce Research Analyst is supervised by the OSI Director of Health Workforce Research. The analyst performs health workforce research, evaluation, data analysis, and writes reports. Additional responsibilities include working with student workers and interns; updating health workforce databases and the Nevada Health Workforce Research Center (OSI) website; and assisting with production of OSI research reports and publications, including the Health Workforce in Nevada - A Chartbook, Physician Workforce in Nevada - A Chartbook, Graduate Medical Education Trends in Nevada, Nevada Rural and Frontier Health Data Book, Health Care Careers in Nevada, and the Nevada Instant Atlas website.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an awareness of project scope and how to effectively move through a decision tree, the ability to self-manage and drive projects forward independently, and manage multiple concurrent priorities. Commitment to the success of the team as well as respect for and adherence to confidentiality/privacy policy and law are required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and two years of related work experience OR

Master's Degree and one year of related work experience

Related Experience: Experience in a research position involving the preparation of technical reports, publications, and policy analysis.

Total Compensation

The total compensation package includes a competitive salary, moving allowance (if applicable), a rich retirement plan, health insurance options that include dental and vision, life insurance, thirty (30) days of sick leave provided upon start date and two (2) days of sick leave accrued per full month after the first year of service, two (2) days of annual leave accrued each full month, along with many other benefits.
