About the Role

IGT is a leading global gaming company seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting with the overall financial planning, project planning, and accounting activities supporting our Gaming Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the multi-year, annual budget, and monthly financial planning process, preparing management reporting and analysis for review.
  • Support business and support units with various analysis or planning requirements and monthly analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Audit project requirements against budget, ensuring required approvals were obtained and opening projects in SAP.
  • Audit transactions recorded to projects and work with accounting to manage the reclassification of costs when necessary.
  • Act as a resource for departments on transactional inquiries and financial/budgetary questions that require problem-solving and analytic capability.
  • Produce financial reports, including annual, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
  • Assist in other finance responsibilities that may arise relating to month-end closing activities, the accounting function, and/or accounting policies.
  • Identify areas where cost improvements can be realized and assist in the implementation of programs to affect cost improvements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong financial/business systems experience, preferably SAP & BPC.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of budget management, financial analysis, financial modeling, and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to travel on occasion.
