Position Title

Manager, Legal Operations / HR (Attorney)

Job Description

Scope:

We are seeking for an attorney with over five years of legal experience to fill an in-house global dispute resolution and employment counsel role. The position will provide legal advice and support on all aspects of employment law and general claims to various internal and external stakeholders, including human resources, management, and in various other aspects of the global business operations (U.S., Canada, Europe, India, China and Malaysia). This position will also be responsible for the management of several of the outside counsel the company retains.

This is a hybrid position located from our Legal Headquarters in Creve Coeur (St. Louis), Missouri.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day counsel and advice regarding employment matters to senior leadership, manufacturing site, and corporate HR professionals;
  • Actively manage all stages of pre-litigation and litigation, including outside counsel, for employment litigation and charges;
  • Work with, manage, and ensure cost effective services from outside counsel and consultants;
  • Proactively identify trends and gaps in processes, partnering with HR and business clients to implement positive change and strategic plans for claim avoidance;
  • Investigate and/or provide legal advice regarding internal investigations, including allegations of employee misconduct;
  • Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members, and other colleagues;
  • Assemble and help oversee an appropriate multidisciplinary investigation team, depending on subject matter, handling functional input as needed;
  • Assist in preparation of various company employment policies;
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Education and Experience

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school;
  • At least five years of experience in litigation, internal investigations and/or employment law;

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
