The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate - Orthopaedic and Urology Unit- Ellison 6
Why This Role Is Important?
Ellison 6 is a 36-bed unit with the clinical specialty being orthopaedics and urology. The population of patients includes total joint replacements, trauma, and orthopaedic oncology . Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. Ellison 6 is seeking a full-time PCA, rotating day/evening shifts. There is a weekend and holiday shift requirement.

Schedule
- Day (7a-3p, 7a-7p), Evenings (3-11pm)
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating holiday and weekend requirement
- We are seeking a positive, collaborative PCA who will be an integral part of the patient care team. This person will assist the patient in basic activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, walking, drain care, support with meals, blood draws and EKGs.
- Shift differential for evening, nights, and weekends
