Group Sales Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answer and direct all service/sales/catering phone calls.
Post all payments for groups.
Send all post function surveys to the clients.
Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees and guests.
Prepare room blocks, proposals, confirmations, thank-you letters, cover sheets, function sheets, rooming lists. Order V.I.P. amenities, as well as make room reservations.
Greet visitors.
Handle all correspondence to the Director of Sales and other assigned Sales Managers.
Type memos, letters, etc. and prepare graphs, charts, statistical research and budget information.
Distribute contracts, memos, to assigned individuals.
Log and maintain file on documents such as reader board surveys, pre-cons, and celebration letters.
Maintain a file of competitive studies of local resort rates and update periodically as demand requires.
Maintain files on promotions, advertising, all Sales Department invoices, room night revenue forms and leads.
What are we looking for?

Strong administrative and computer skills are required

Enthusiasm & passion for customer service

Must possess good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, be outgoing, perceptive and self-motivated with the ability to work harmoniously with varying personalities

Must be able to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communication

Hospitality Experience preferred
