Job Description

AECOM is seeking to hire a Deputy Design Build Manager – Highway Roadway Transportation to support our exciting projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

Assist in leading a team of professionals overseeing design of large scale complex projects with an emphasis on design-build delivery.
Assist in supervising and leading the project plan.
Track budgets and schedules for project deliverables.
Develop and manage key client relationships.
Provide technical expertise.
Ensure quality control process and submittals of work developed by others.
Assist in managing design package submittals.
Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain CA PE within twelve months if not currently registered in CA
Experience delivering design build projects on large complex highway projects
Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment
Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets
Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, and best practices
Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience
Local candidates to CA highly preferred
