Role Overview

Shooter Detection Systems is in search of an National Accounts Manager with a strategic mindset and proven sales expertise to drive our expansion within the enterprise sector. This role is pivotal in identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with National accounts partners, and leveraging their sales force to reach end users effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, partnership management, and an in-depth understanding of the technology or security sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise market, utilizing market research and lead generation strategies.
  • Partnership Collaboration: Build and maintain robust relationships with National accounts partners, leveraging their sales force to enhance market reach and penetration. Collaborate on joint sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Solution Selling: Understand the unique needs of enterprise clients and develop tailored solutions that leverage SDS's technology to meet these needs.
  • Enablement and Training: Provide comprehensive product training and ongoing support to National accounts partners' sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively sell SDS solutions.
  • Joint Marketing Initiatives: Work closely with marketing and partners to create and execute co-marketing strategies designed to generate leads and drive awareness in the enterprise segment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership performance, optimizing strategies to improve sales outcomes and market penetration.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in business development or sales, with a solid track record in the enterprise market, preferably within the technology or security industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing partnerships and working with channel sales or National accounts.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical acumen, with a good understanding of SDS products and the ability to align them with customer needs.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet with partners, attend industry events, and develop business opportunities.
