Obtain a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity as a second-shift machine operator in our Ontario, CA facility. The Ontario facility is a manufacturing and development site for electronic toothbrushes and other dental products used in our Philips Sonicare line and other oral care products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Set up and breakdown of machines at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Running new machines and ensuring efficient production standards are being met
  • Working in a small team and communicating effectively
  • Performing basic assembly tasks in between machine checks.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting minor issues with machines as they arise.
  • Detail oriented and a team player essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhering to work safety standards
  • Ability to work 2nd shift role from 2:30pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in machine operation (Biotechnology experience preferred)
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude to perform setups and shutdowns of machines.
  • Ability to work in a small team environment in a safe manner.
  • Comfortability working within a clean room environment (full gowning process)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.58 – $38.71. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
