Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Worker/Machine Operator to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and ensuring high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Load Former and other machinery as directed by supervisors
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to safety protocols
  • Perform manual tasks such as hand stacking, lifting, and carrying raw materials and production supplies
  • Visually inspect finished product and report any issues to machine operators
  • Perform machine clean-up tasks and weekly start-up tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
  • Safe Work Practice certification and Lockout/Tagout certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy work environment
  • Basic math skills to count production quantities and measure raw materials and finished product
  • Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced production environment
