The Retail Pricing Senior Manager is a key member of the U.S. Value & Access organization, responsible for developing and carrying out the pricing and payer coverage contracting strategies to help Repatha achieve its goals. You will engage with subject matter experts and brand leadership while leading quantitative and qualitative pricing/contracting analyses to support the payer contacting strategy on Repatha, a critical growth brand at Amgen. You'll also partner with finance to estimate the overall contracting impact on sales volume goals, discount rates, and long-term planning.

In this role, you will gather, analyze and synthesize cross-functional information across a variety of sources to support scenario-planning and customer insight development. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you'll partner with the Market Access and contracting teams for Repatha coverage and pricing negotiations. This role interacts cross functionally with Value Strategy & Marketing, Patient Access, Data and Analytics, Sales, Brand Marketing, Government Affairs, Trade & Distribution, Business Unit Leadership, Finance, Accounting, and Legal. You'll also work with our field-based Market Access team to engage customers in the regional markets to present contract offerings to gain coverage aligned to Repatha brand goals.

This role requires a solid base in the U.S. healthcare market and is a phenomenal avenue to many future commercial healthcare roles. Amgen has strong training, education, and mentoring programs to ensure staff are successful.Key Job Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the Repatha Latest Estimate Discount Rate (LEDR) process, pricing and contracting scenarios, contract decisions, LEDR and LRS managementLead pre-deal analytics for Repatha to determine viability, profitability, and recommendations regarding future coverage scenariosConstructively challenge the team by providing disconfirming information and encouraging innovative problem solvingTrack Market Access payer coverage/POA goals and support dashboard activitiesRoutinely interact with senior leadership and other high-level, cross functional committees or teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with team members; data-driven influencing, and providing ongoing support to address business needsEnsure alignment in strategy and execution of the plan with cross-functional teams including Brand, Medical, Patient Access, Value Marketing, GHE, Trade, and PolicyWinWhat we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
