We are Now Hiring a Dispatch Supervisor in Chicago, IL

Transdev is proud to offer:

Responsibilities:

  • This position works from our Melrose Park Location at 2040 Indian Boundary Dr. Melrose Park, IL
  • Responsible for overseeing road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents, accidents, radio etiquette etc.
  • Responsible for dispatching and maintaining service
  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints.
  • Supervises, counsels, coaches, and trains dispatchers.
  • Monitors and evaluates operations activities. Ensures that drivers are performing assigned duties correctly and safely and meeting all job requirements.
  • Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
  • Covers shifts as needed-Back up scheduler/dispatcher as needed.
  • Oversee scheduling process.
  • Manage department reports and other communication tools.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical degree preferred
  • Supervisor experience
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Trapeze experience preferred
  • 1-2 years Experience in the transportation industry
