Network Security Engineer
What does a successful Senior Network Security Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade network security services across the global organization to provide protection of the underlying infrastructure from unauthorized access, misuse, or theft.

What you will do:

Work across departments to develop and implement technical solutions and platforms to support Network Security functions
Define, measure and report metrics to monitor compliance and effectiveness of managed platforms and services
Implement network security risk management strategies and practices that continuously monitor and improve the security of client-facing and internally facing applications
Demonstrate effective time and priority management, careful use of resources; analyze and resolve complex issues while providing reasoned alternatives to solve problems
Ensure cybersecurity, internal controls, risk management, and disaster recovery processes are properly followed and resolve risk items in a timely manner
Be proactive in testing, identifying and remediating network and system vulnerabilities
What you will need to have:

6+ years of experience in Information Security for financial Institutions or similar regulated industries to develop, implement and manage Network Security solutions
6+ years' experience in Network Security technology infrastructure including Firewalls, NGFWs, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy and other solutions that integrate the latest technologies to prevent and detect malicious attacks
3+ years in modern, large-scale corporate network environments, with demonstrable, expert-level understanding of core network switching and routing concepts, protocols, and implementations
2+ years in cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques, with a solid understanding of security principles, infrastructure, and data protection practices
2 years of experience of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and risk and compliance requirements
1+ years of experience in cloud computing and services and traditional hardware/software platforms, including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies
1+ years of experience in deployments and integration of network security solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
