Key Responsibilities
  • Performing service calls for commercial clients
  • Installing new systems for Fire Detection, Intrusion Protection, Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Network Infrastructure
  • Managing conduit and cabling for both new and existing systems
  • Maintaining and servicing components of fire and intrusion systems
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships
  • Enhancing knowledge through attendance at seminars, conferences, and professional training
Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years of experience with fire alarm and/or electronic security systems
  • Ability to interpret blueprint drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Organized and methodical approach with a keen attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience with Honeywell Vista and/or Firelite is a plus
  • Familiarity with NFPA inspection and testing standards is preferred
Education and Experience
  • Current State Fire License is required
  • ESA and/or NICET Certification is preferred
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable using a ladder
Work Schedule
  • Standard work hours typically range from 40 to 48 hours per week
  • Regular network maintenance may occur outside of standard hours, usually once or twice a month
  • Occasional after-hours work may be required for special projects
