This role is responsible for production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results; This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising them of budgetary information and working with managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.

Highlights of your role
  • Present monthly financial statements to management, providing insight on financial trends and finding opportunities for financial improvement
  • Manage the company's cost accounting data including establishing proper bill of material costs and ensure accuracy of transactions to the appropriate income statement accounts
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures and preparation of financial presentations. Perform account reconciliations and manual journal entries needed. Ensure the financial statements are completed timely and accurately
  • Support the financial needs of the operations management team through reporting of metrics and other financial analysis, providing recommendations


You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills, computer skills, and written and oral communication skills
  • CMA or CPA certification


Also want to make sure you have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
