The Public Utilities Specialist serves as the Smithsonian's utilities contracting and budget expert.

In this position, you will:
Develop and coordinate Smithsonian-wide policy, guidance, procedures, and programming for the Smithsonian utilities strategy.

Oversee utilities contracting functions, budgeting, and technical support provided by various Federal agencies in the areas of utilities and energy services.

Represent the Smithsonian Institution in GSA Utilities meetings, utility contract negotiations, review and approve utility service contracts and utilities invoices.

Maintain the Utilities Billing System and programs.
