Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a sourcing rep to process orders and secure materials and merchandise. They will work closely with customer service, production, inventory control and finance to ensure the plant has what is needed for orders while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. They will build relationship with vendors. Must have good organizational skills and be a great communicator. A high school diploma is required for the position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute orders for raw material to be used in the Printing or Lettershop manufacturing process
  • Ensure execution of operational processes that deliver the highest level of satisfaction to our internal and external suppliers
  • Identify and implement areas of opportunity to streamline and/or improve processes through analysis of needs and feedback from cross-functional partners
  • Manage communications to supplier base
  • Interact with external stakeholders, suppliers, vendors, and partners to deliver projects as required
  • Interact with suppliers at the tactical level to streamline any customer related tasks when issues are escalated for resolution
  • Provide support for special projects as needed by Sourcing leadership
  • Make significant contributions to continuous improvement efforts within the business

You Must Have:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven collaborator and team player who creates an environment of teamwork; success in interacting and influencing individuals and teams
  • Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and committed to strategic and results driven improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving capability, especially during supply chain disruptions
  • Ability to adapt and respond positively to organizational and/or industry changes and advancements

  • Previous paper and envelope buying experience
