Accounts Receivable Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Posting all cash receipts, discounts, allowances, price difference, returns and other charge backs to customer accounts timely and accurately. The expectation is that postings occur the same day or next day
- Maintaining thorough, well organized accounts receivable customer files
- Investigate and respond back on a timely basis to customer questions
- Process Credit and Debit Memos
- Perform other accounting duties as requested
- Make daily collection calls
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Prepare and maintain various reports
- Maintain an accurate aging report
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
- Send statements to outstanding customers
- Reconcile A/R to the G/L
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to thrive in an often fast paced and deadline-oriented global business requiring development and refinement of processes and procedures
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle preferred
