project. This role involves managing project teams, liaising with stakeholders,
ensuring adherence to timelines, and contributing to the overall success of
research endeavors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in
project management, research methodologies, and effective communication.
The individual in this role is
expected to oversee and lead large interprofessional multi-sector projects requiring
collaboration with various disciplines, managing data, and contribute to
research and evaluation activities.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Proven experience in managing research projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in Human Factors engineering is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
- Experience managing research grants or contracts strongly preferred
- 2 years work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution required
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI PMP Certification is highly encouraged within 12 months of employment
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lpan, organize, motivate, and control resources to achieve specific goals, under the constraints of project scope, time, quality and budget.
