We specialize in designing and manufacturing soft home products, catering to discerning customers through renowned retailers like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, TJX Groups, Ross, and Burlington.


Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Wholesale Sales Representative to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and revenue growth for our brand, leveraging our established presence in both boutique and major retail channels.


Responsibilities:
Actively pursue new customer leads, including travel to meet with clients and attend trade shows.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential wholesale clients, including boutique stores and major retailers.
Utilize existing industry connections and implement innovative strategies to present, promote, and sell Smize home textile products.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate sales efforts and optimize customer satisfaction.
Provide regular reports and insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities.
Stay informed about industry best practices and promotional trends, continuously refining sales strategies based on feedback.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and success in wholesale sales, preferably in the home textile or related industry.
Strong network and active contacts within boutique stores, online retailers, and major chain stores.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in retail math, including Excel and spreadsheet applications.
Must be familiar and currently active in the wholesale home decor market.

Contract Type:
Contract-based

Commission Only

Potential for Full-time Position:


This contract-based role has the potential to transition into a full-time salaried position starting Q1 2025 upon opening of our new office.

At that time, full-time employees must be able to commute to our New York office.
Current product categories include pet beds & accessories, towels, pillows, throws, mats & deco items.
