The team's core mission is to improve the work day for Higher Education administrators and faculty through greater technical capability, while empowering students on their educational journeys.

We are looking for creative, delivery focused and skilled machine learning and software engineers to help on a range of these challenges.

You will realize that the sky's the limit to your growth all while having funAs a Machine Learning Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tackle significant problems, which comes with developing and delivering global critical enterprise software using your expertise in design, coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis.


Your primary focus will be to:
Own exploration, design and execution of machine learning modelsBuild tools, technologies and platforms for productizing Machine Learning models in business-critical Enterprise softwareAnalyze complex data requirements and design data models that meet organizational needsWork closely with product managers and machine learning engineers to take services from inception to productionTakes ownership for finding creative solutions that move projects forwardAnalyze, design, program, debug, and modify software improvementsTake initiative, exhibit creative thinking, have the determination to turn data into real-life insightsMentor and guide other engineersWork in an Agile environment focused on collaboration and teamworkApply data integration, validation and transformation techniques to ensure data quality and consistencyDesign and develop data pipelines to process and transform raw data efficiently from various sourcesAbout YouBasic Qualifications5

years of experience with OO design and development in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, XO, etc.

years of experience with production software development lifecycle methodologies4

years of experience with applied Machine LearningBachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experienceOther QualificationsStrong foundation in data engineering concepts, including data modeling, database design, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with a focus on applying these to data engineering tasks.
Proficiency with technologies like SnowFlake and Databricks.
Familiarity with code repository and project tools such as GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.

Experience with AWS cloud services:
EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker.

Strong communication ability to liaise with various partners, including data scientists, business analysts, and executives, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
