Ecolab's Enterprise Data Office is looking for a Business Analyst who is curious, insightful, and a strong communicator to join it's One Customer Insights Team.This team is focused on delivering AI/ML based insights to drive revenue growth and enable improved decision making across the enterprise. A person in this role must have demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and data domains, and adeptly communicate with both business and technical teams. You will use established business analysis practices to translate business data needs and processes into functional and non-functional requirements. And, you will assist the product owner in writing user stories that have accurate, testable, clear and concise acceptance criteria.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders focused on the One Ecolab & One Customer initiatives to understand business needs and objectives
  • Exhibit curiosity and a willingness to ask questions in order to understand the "why"
  • Gathe and translate business requirements into data requirements and data mappings
  • Create projectartifacts that clearly articulate desired scope and desired outcomes,and ensure they are understood by all project team members and retained for future use
  • Work closely with data analysts, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate implementation of data requirements
  • Identify issues and risks and proactively escalate to leadership
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI & ML

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree with 2 years of professional work experience or no degree and 6 years of professional work experience
  • 2 years of experience as a business analyst in a technical environment
  • 1 year of experience in reporting or database development
  • Experience facilitating technical project meetingsand creating/delivering presentations
  • Familiarity with agile development practices
  • Strong initiative and personal accountability
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation, and influencing
  • Naturally curious and willing to ask questions
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and methodologies
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Azure ML, and other analytic and AI/ML tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps or similar
