Job Description:

The Quality Technician will be responsible for managing Res' quality lab, performing required inspections for PPAP and annual part layouts, and supporting the production floor with day-to-day quality related questions. In addition, this individual will:

  • Perform production team weld verifications (destructive testing, etch tests, etc.)
  • Manage the material review board (MRB) process.
  • Coordinate external metrology calibration.
  • Manage the PPAP master sample inventory.
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
  • Perform the duties of an Internal Auditor.
  • Support Engineering with part inspection as needed; this could include first and last piece set up verifications.
  • Perform necessary laboratory services, using hand measuring tools as well as a Romer Arm, CMM, and optical comparator.

Skills Required:
  • Operating and programming 3D scanner, Romer arm preferred
  • Internal auditor
  • Skilled problem solver
  • Blueprint reading, including GD&T
  • Inspection equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
