Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Document and record inspection results, including any quality issues or defects.
  • Use data to create reports and present findings to engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with experience creating reports and analyzing data.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, and ability to use a tape measure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with weld, paint, and assembly inspection.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis.
  • Certification in quality inspection or a related field.
