Position Overview:

Pharo Management is seeking a Compliance Associate to join their New York office. The role entails comprehensive monitoring of the Compliance program on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Code of Ethics (COE) monitoring, including personal trading, electronic surveillance, compliance certifications, political contributions, gifts & entertainment, outside business activities/conflicts of interest, and remedial controls.
  • Review and approve marketing materials.
  • Handle new employee onboarding processes.
  • Conduct analysis of trade errors.
  • Manage counter-party compliance background checks and 3rd party service provider due diligence.
  • Perform Best Execution analysis.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in Hedge Fund compliance or Investment Banking within Investment Adviser managing private funds
  • Familiarity with SEC Investment Advisers Act and COE
  • Knowledge of CFTC/NFA requirements for Commodity Pool Operator (CPO)
  • Experience in market manipulation trade compliance
  • Proficiency in regulatory filings: Form ADV, Reg D, 13F, 13H, Form PF, CPOPQR, NFA annual filings, CFTC Form 40
  • Bachelor's degree
Compensation Range:

The salary ranges from $100k to $130k annually in New York, subject to variations based on skills, experience, and location.
