Field Support Representative

This position is responsible for installing, commissioning, and repairing thermal insulation jackets for industrial and energy applications. The candidate should have a proven track record of performing field installation in OEM engine applications and technical experience working with engineering teams to recommend the appropriate solutions required to meet customers' needs.
What will you do in this position?
- Understands and comply with InsulTech and customer HSSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with InsulTech Engineering specifications, recommendations and best practices
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems with little or no supervision.
- Must have basic knowledge of methods and experience in the installation of various equipment associated with Insultech's end user applications.
- Must be able to proactively recognize mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems and take appropriate action.
- Provide daily reports to the relevant manager on projects or daily work. Keep abreast of pending work, materials, and personnel required to complete the projects.
- Self-motivated and driven.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience in field services - preferably in engine applications
- Knowledge of thermal insulation products and/or applications
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and be able to interface with engineers on technical aspects of application.
- Travel across North America will be required approx. 50% of the time.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Must read, write and understand English. Multilingual is desirable.
