Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Roofing Production Manager to join our team in Westford, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the roofing industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering best-in-class services to homeowners and property managers. The Roofing Production Manager will oversee all aspects of roofing production, from scheduling and material procurement to on-site management and job close-out.

In addition to salary (which may be adjusted based on prior work experience), there are many additional performance-based and team incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Mighty Dog Roofing's evolving production process within a high growth paradigm
  • Lead pre-construction meetings/consultations with homeowners when necessary to ensure accurate installation
  • Run Pre-Construction meetings (in person when necessary) with clients to align expectations
  • Put in place a scalable Job kickoff process
  • Screen labor partners to create long term win-win partnerships
  • Guide/ Support Team to order materials operationalizing budgets and execution flexibility
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations on the prioritization of jobs
  • Coordinating/conducting job "kick-off" duties, including conducting on-site safety briefings, ensuring that all correct materials have been delivered, install crew is clear on job to be performed, Customer Success staff can update homeowner on expected job progress for the day, "before" photos are complete, homeowner property is adequately protected from damage, and company-specific norms are adhered to
  • Use technology effectively to deliver in-field job management responsibilities via distributed support staff, including ensuring materials are used appropriately (and waste is minimized), safety standards are adhered to, unexpected materials are procured in a timely manner, and job progress photos are taken by crew
  • Enable Customer Success Team's communications with crew(s) and homeowners about ongoing jobs
  • Drive job close-out planning, including scheduling the removal of excess materials and waste. Coordinating/Conducting end-of-job responsibilities, including ensuring job-site cleanup activities, "after" photos, a walkthrough of the completed job with homeowners, and collection of final payment
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Team to deliver on Production targets via Job costing analyses/assessment
  • Keeping and replenishing material inventories for commonly-used items such as pipe boots, starter shingles, nails, etc
  • Completion of post-job documentation such as completion certificates, change orders, warranty filings, etc
  • Conduct drone flights to collect before, progress, and after photos

Qualities:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must have driver's license and clean driving record for insurability to drive company vehicles
  • Bilingual in English and either Spanish or Portuguese (Portuguese preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with people from all aspects of the business – labor, homeowners/customers, and co-workers

  • Familiarity with construction project-management software such as CompanyCam and Roofing CRMs
  • Prior experience flying drones is preferred, but not required
  • Prior knowledge of the roofing/construction industry is strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time
