Under the direction of the Corp Director of Env Health & Safety (EH&S), applies extensive knowledge of laws, rules and regulations, to include environmental compliance, life safety compliance, industrial hygiene, emergency management, construction safety, laser safety, ergonomics, data analysis and corrective action planning, to manage broad programs.

Represents BHSF in external affairs related to EH&S regulations and accreditation. Oversees the work of direct reports, internal experts, and contracted vendors. Support the Corp EH&S Director and other EH&S staff members with assigned departmental efforts and initiatives. A wide degree of creativity is required. Position requires the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Florida Drivers License and Prefer one or more of the following (or ability to obtain within 24 months upon hire): CHFM Certified Healthcare Facility Manager from AHA, CHSP Certified Healthcare Safety Professional from IBFCSM, CHEM Certified Healthcare Environmental Manager from ECRI, Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional from IBFCSM, Associate Safety Professional (ASP)/Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from BCSP
