Senior .Net/Azure Developer (On-site)

We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in .Net Framework Azure SQL C# and SQL Server along with domain experience in Payer. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance our company's impact on the healthcare industry.

Location: Mountlake Terrace, WA

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality software solutions using .Net Framework C# and SQL Server to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement cloud-based applications on Azure to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of applications.
  • Optimize database performance by writing efficient SQL queries and tuning existing ones.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Ensure software solutions are secure compliant and adhere to industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software applications ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate them into the development process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that drive business value.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of .Net Framework C# and SQL Server.
  • Have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and their application in software development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show experience in the Payer domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Display strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Have a proactive approach to learning and staying current

Desired Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer

Travel: 0-5%

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 09/14/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $131K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
