Are you looking for a rewarding career within mechatronics and automation? If so, you might be the perfect fit for the Digit Asset Technician position at the Walmart Fulfillment Center

As a Digital Asset Technician, you will be responsible for working on the alpha bots and the structures themselves.

You will be performing major and minor repairs on equipment or systems by utilizing a wide range of craft skills (for example, electronics, networking, electrical, mechatronics, and robotics).

You will also be responsible for inspecting, operating, or testing equipment or systems to diagnose problems; dismantling equipment, machines, or systems to gain access to and remove defective parts; diagnosing problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary; utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment; providing prompt response to emergency calls; and documenting repair activities.


Schedule:
This will be a night shift working from 7:00PM – 5:30AM

Available Shift:

  • Wednesday – Saturday
  • Must be able to travel to the NW Arkansas area for training.

  • Following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines to perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and proper functionality of equipment or systems.
  • Inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment or systems.
  • Observing and documenting signs of wear and tear.
  • Recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
  • Determining replacement needs and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
  • Managing work orders and maintenance schedules by completing and submitting required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, and maintenance logs)
  • Ordering and tracking parts and replacement equipment and recording purchases and usage.
  • Submitting warranty claims and adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines
  • Ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensuring contractors follow Walmart quality standards, safety requirements, and meet contract requirements.

  • You have mechatronics and automation experience.
  • You have experience with circuit boards.
  • You have strong customer service and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade.
  • License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
  • Need to have a valid Driver's License.
  • Completion of a 2year Vocational or Technical trade program.
  • 13 years of experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00*- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.


Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
