Job Title: Processing Team Manager and Supervisor
Location: Chicago, IL, United States
Duration: 06 months contract will be extended

Shift Timing: Day 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Job Description:

Placement narrative and duties:
  • The supervisor will be responsible for managing and directing the work of a small team of data entry temps during a 3–6-month team assignment. The work will include application processing for specific professions for licensure via initial licensure, reinstatement, and fulfillment of deficiencies. Application types (professions) will be directed by IDFPR leadership and the assigned application type will be worked until the backlog of that profession's applications requiring processing is eliminated.
  • The supervisor will provide guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the work of the team is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • The supervising manager will be responsible for providing training to the team members (once he/she is trained by IDFPR staff), helping them acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • The supervising manager will handle any issues that arise. This may include conflict resolution, addressing performance issues, and escalating matters to IDFPR leadership if necessary.
Placement deliverables:
  • Assist and lead on the processing of backlogs for the below-listed professions, anticipated to take 60 days or less to complete:
  • Permanent Employee Registration Card.
  • Nurse (Multiple types).
  • Pharmacy Technician.
  • Once the backlog is complete, will be assigned additional professions or application types as assigned by IDFPR leadership.
  • Ensure complete accuracy of submissions and work product during the entire placement.
  • Lead assessment of team progress with DPR Leadership to ensure deliverables are being met in the time documented; adjust processes and subordinate placements if the processing team is falling behind schedule.
Education & experience requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a preference for Bachelor of Science – Business/Management.
  • Three (3) years of general management experience, with a preference towards experience leading documentation of processes, workflows, and end-work product distribution.
  • Three (3) Years of supervision experience over a small team of subordinates (2-5 people).
  • Strong type (speed and accuracy) skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Lists, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Detail orientated.
  • Keyboarding (35 wpm}- Completing online forms, and alphanumeric data entry with the option to complete short-sentence structured documents.
  • Advanced Computer skills: ILES regulatory database, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
