Acara Solutions has a Validation Test Technician opening for the Philadelphia region. Hands-on experience with validation, troubleshooting, and testing in a manufacturing setting? Work skills with Railway or 'Rolling Stock' quality and function testing? A background reading blueprints and schematics for managing customers' orders?

Job Title: Validation Test Technician - Train / Railroad

Compensation: $ /HR

Work Location: Philadelphia PA - 100% Onsite

Shifts Available: Days and Nights available

Project Status: Contract to Direct Hire / 40-Hour work week

Job Duties 'At-a-Glance':

Validate electrical and mechanical tests for high-speed trains, railways rolling stock, etc...
Maintain data and records in Dewesoft Systems for test and measurement results
Functional and qualification troubleshooting for manufactured railway vehicles
Read blueprints and schematics to perform bench-top testing for equipment
Use technical tools and instrumentation's and follow safety and compliance rules

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Education:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years experience of validation, functionality, and testing
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Railway, metro, train manufacturing industry background

Preferred Skills and Education:
Dewesoft Systems and/or industrial software
AS Degree in a technical field
