Position Overview:

We are seeking a Rollingstock Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to Railway System testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the testing, validation, and deployment of a CBTC signalling system, encompassing Onboard, Ground Based, and Operational Control subsystems.
  • Act as a liaison with the engineering team and Verification & Validation (V&V) leaders.
  • Participate in V&V testing within laboratory settings.
  • Document and address any anomalies identified during Static, Dynamic, and Simulated testing phases.
  • Define system architecture in alignment with specified requirements and safety integrity levels.
  • Conduct project reviews and verifications to ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate within an AGILE team structure, adhering to scrum methodologies.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout all project activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the railway sector.
  • Practical experience with railway subsystems or System Integration.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges.
