Job Description:


Our customer is going through a major migration/ transformation effort where they're moving from Oracle EBS on-prem to Oracle Cloud Fusion and are looking for a Solutions Team Lead to help with this effort.

The new environment will also need to be GovCloud complaint, so ideally this person has not only lead a large migration effort like this before, but also understands GovCloud compliance requirements to ensure optimization.

This role is extremely strategic and influential, and the ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management skills.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in an Oracle Solutions Team Lead/ Architect role.
  • 3+ years' experience supporting or leading an Oracle Cloud Fusion enterprise-wide migration effort like this before.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Fusion applications and architecture.
o Proficiency in cloud computing, data migration strategies, and integration techniques.

o Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements, particularly GovCloud compliance standards.

o Experience with Oracle database management and PL/SQL.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving skills, and the ability to influence change and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Nice to have:

  • Oracle Cloud certification(s).
Responsibilities
:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and articulate the migration strategy from Oracle EBS on-premises to Oracle Cloud Fusion, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and technology roadmap.


Compliance Assurance:
Ensure that all aspects of the migration and the new Oracle Cloud Fusion environment meet GovCloud compliance requirements.

Architecture Design:
Design and implement the architecture for Oracle Cloud Fusion, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance with GovCloud standards.

Technical Guidance:

Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the migration process, including data migration, system integration, customization, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.


Stakeholder Management:

Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure buy-in and support for the migration project.


Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues related to migration and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of the latest developments in Oracle Cloud Fusion and GovCloud compliance, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.


Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the migration process, architecture design, operational procedures, and compliance adherence.

Mentorship:
Mentor and provide technical leadership to the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
