As part of the Digital Marketing team focused on , the Digital Merchandising Manager is responsible for the strategy to drive revenue and engagement on the website. You will own the planning and coordination of offers and messages within authenticated digital experiences. You will work with digital strategists and business marketing partners to understand product seasonality and promotional calendars and provide recommendations for placement opportunities throughout the authenticated platforms. You'll work with content and design teams on the creation of digital marketing assets. You'll leverage data driven insights to create test & learn initiatives that continually improve performance and conversion. You'll educate internal partners on campaign results and drive a culture of measurement based on KPIs that drive revenue and engagement. You'll also make recommendations for improving the customer experience and "shelf space" to Online Banking and Mobile App platform partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research, develop and execute strategies for Truist digital channels which increase acquisition, retention, profitability, and cross-sell of clients across Truist's product lines. Partner with digital marketing channels/tactics such as web, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, paid advertising, search engine optimization and content marketing to increase product adoption and utilization. Partner with business marketing partners and marketing strategists to develop product specific roadmaps which assist in achieving revenue goals through digital marketing strategies. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the consumer behavior model and user journeys, and how both are applied to banking products and services. Increase Truist product awareness, consideration, and acquisition by aligning consumer needs with Truist offerings throughout the consumer behavior process. Leverage web analytics and performance data to develop and refine digital marketing strategies, improve conversion rates, and enhance client experiences across digital devices. Maintain appropriate reporting capabilities to establish and track KPIs and communicate the value of web properties and digital marketing strategies to business marketing partners and senior management. Develop and execute personalization and targeting strategies based on customer segmentation studies and interactions of each client with the business and online. Stay current on the changes taking place in the digital environment. Research and evaluate industry trends, the competitive environment, and emerging technologies. Adjust strategies accordingly to ensure Truist remains at a competitive advantage. Strong quantitative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for measuring results and identifying actionable insights. Evaluate and improve process gaps to increase efficiency and enhance GTM strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training. Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business, organizational strategies and managing a process. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure. Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or MBA and previous experience in the banking industry. Experience developing digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions. Demonstrated ability to apply agile marketing methodologies and processes to large enterprise, cross-functional teams. Ability to develop strategies that break long-term goals into short term wins to facilitate learning, quick iteration, with shorter time to market and return on investment. Working knowledge of various programming languages (Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, Python, SQL). Working knowledge of American Disabilities Act (ACT) compliance requirements Experience with Adobe products (AEM, Test and Target, Analytics, Audience Manager and Adobe Cloud). Experience with API development, ad servers, dynamic tag managers, market automation platforms, content management systems, A/B multivariate testing and personalization tools. Excellent understanding of HTML for email and ability to code templates, revise modular layouts and provide both strategic and technical direction to web developers.

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
