The Opportunity

This is a lead level position assigned to a role in Planning in may be in combination with Cost Engineering, Project Controls Management. With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses. The level may handle commercial issues and will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel. Has project team supervisory responsibilities.

This is a Field position based in Adelanto, CA.

Key Responsibilities

This Projects Controls Planner demonstrates the capability of leading the project control function of a project and able to influence internal and external clients. Lead facilitator of project forecasts. Recognizes issues and advises project team on matters affecting project execution. Supports proposal efforts.

• Leads project controls schedule team in all planning and scheduling efforts, including float analysis, earned value, startup planning, and constructability.

• As required by the business unit, expert in scheduling forensics.

• Leads in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling.

• Develops and maintains earned value reports.

• Leads critical path and float analysis reporting.

• Leads development of Level I/II schedule during proposal stage.

• Provides Schedule Support for key Cost processes.

Management Responsibilities
Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum Qualifications

Four-year Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
