Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner/CAD Draftsperson to join our team at Synapse Virtual Production. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing project timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed technical drawings for LED volumes, support structures, and other related components.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure designs meet project specifications.
  • Work with technical department heads to manage and integrate top-level production drawings, including video, rigging, lighting, and audio.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of project timelines and deliverables.
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and project teams.
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
  • Support the project team during installation phases by providing necessary technical documentation and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with project management to create and manage project budgets.
  • Utilize knowledge of 3D scanning workflows to incorporate scans into production drawings.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Vectorworks and AutoCAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of entertainment technology systems, including LED, rigging, lighting, and audio.
  • Excellent organizational and project planning skills.
  • Strong proficiency in both 2D and 3D drafting.
  • Knowledge of 3D scanning workflows and the ability to incorporate scans into production drawings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
