We are seeking a SVP of Product to drive Samba TV's Audience business and client platform. This senior leadership role accountable for the profit and loss of the audience and insights business including full product management and lifecycle. This expands from full comprehensive strategy of the portfolio to development, execution, and operational launch. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs, technical acumen, and a strategic mindset to lead our products from ideation to implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as an industry expert by owning and developing the roadmap for audience and measurement products.
  • Lead strategic GTM initiatives by executing product strategy, positioning, messaging, metrics, and all elements related to the business case.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, including ideation, scope, specification, prioritization, design, implementation, quality assurance, launch, and iteration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality, innovative products on time and within budget.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Understand and analyze user needs by integrating usability studies, A/B testing, usage data, research, and market analysis into product requirements.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define and analyze metrics that inform and ensure the success of products. Drive product usage, retention, engagement, and revenue.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Influence and align other teams to achieve product goals. Collaborate across multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UI, sales, customer success, finance, and marketing.
  • Innovation and Inclusiveness: Recognize the value of inclusiveness by seeking diverse perspectives throughout the product development process. Rely on emotional intelligence, persuasiveness, and technical savviness to meet the needs of thousands of internal and external customers.
  • Effectively represent the company at client meetings and industry conferences, ensuring a professional presence that positively reflects the brand's values and standards.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience focusing on ad tech, user platforms and interfaces, or measurement products.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and represent technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-centric thinking; ability to incorporate customer feedback and experience in every product lifecycle stage.
  • Proven expertise in managing customer data platforms (CDPs) and utilizing these systems for effective customer segmentation and personalized marketing.
  • Experience with demand-side platforms (DSPs), including campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data lake technologies, structures, and best practices in storing, processing, and analyzing large data sets in a cloud environment.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership; ability to influence and align teams to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge across multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UI, sales, customer success, finance, and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coding experience.
  • Experience with statistics and advertising measurement methodologies.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying customer interfaces, ideally in the advertising space.
  • Experience in the TV, Media, Entertainment, or digital advertising spaces.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications.
