Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • General accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Ensures all accounts payables are recorded and coded correctly
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records
  • Setup and manage job cost projects
  • Understanding of Percentage of Completion Billing
  • Knowledge of Construction Billing
  • File Sales and Use Tax for Multiple States
  • Create subcontract agreements
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Liaise with other departments, customers and vendors
  • Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
  • Propose journal entries to Controller with supporting documentation
  • Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts
  • Perform month end reporting procedures
